     Marcus Dean, Kentucky’s sports turf director, was named the Winfrey P. Bunton II Man of the Year by the Kentucky Turfgrass Council. In his 11th year at the University--and his fifth year as sports turf manager-- Dean captains a turfgrass department that has affected playing fields, for the better, all over the country. “Marcus has assembled a knowledgeable, experienced and hard-working team that facilitates a world class experience for [University of Kentucky] student-athletes, coaches and staff,” said Kevin Saal, overseer of UK’s turf department. “Outside of his time at UK, Marcus is very giving of his time to the industry and is very deserving of this award.” Check out this award-winning director through the link below.
