Michigan- Lake Cadillac had 28 acres treated on June 8 for Eurasian watermilfoil, including problem locations such as the Clam River entrance and areas by Mitchell State Park and Cheryl's landing. The lake, which had 100 acres treated 3 times in 2013 for watermilfoil, has a survey scheduled for July 15 which will dictate whether more treatment will be needed for this season.

Lake Mitchell's most recent survey found 65 to 70 acres of milfoil, which was treated two weeks ago. "It was felt to be a successful treatment," said Mike Solomon, Lake Mitchell Improvement Board President. "The consultant will come back in about a month to evaluate the treatment and schedule any additional treatment." 2013 saw about 300 acres of the lake and its coves treated, with about 90% of the milfoil eradicated by mid-September. Last year revealed 134 acres in the main lake and coves.
