     The North Carolina State Legislature is trying to improve water quality in Jordan Lake, and they think they've found the technology to do it. Solarbees, solar-powered water circulators, will be deployed around the lake in an attempt at water quality restoration. Ken Hudnell, former federal toxicologist and Medora employee (the company behind the Solarbee), believes the machines can disrupt unwanted algae growth, one of Jordan Lake's growing concerns.
